Can anyone please compare the sizing of the lace cholis (specifically the ones sold by Tribal Bazaar) to the Flying Skirts cholis? I'm assuming there must be someone here who has both and can help us. ^_^
I'm being an instigator, trying to convince everyone to get the lace cholis, but there are concerns amongst the group about fit. I was planning on measuring the two Flying Skirts cholis I have and comparing them to the measurements given on the Tribal Bazaar website. Will that work?
Any other advice about lace cholis in general is appreciated. ^_^
Thanks in advance!

Re: Lace cholis - fit compared to Flying Skirts help needed!
Mon, April 20, 2009 - 10:05 PMTribal Bazaar's lace cholis are snug, and you may need to order a size larger than you ordinarily wear, but they look great layered over a standard (Flying Skirts) choli!

Re: Lace cholis - fit compared to Flying Skirts help needed!
Tue, April 21, 2009 - 8:19 AMHmmm.....If they are the same lace choli's as many others are selling (same manufacturer?), I found them to be a bit larger than the FC cholis. In fact, one of the ladies in our troupe is rather small and she cannot wear their smallest size.
About lace cholis in general...they look dynamite, but they are HOT to wear for long performances. They do not seem to breathe as nicely as cotton cholis. In addition, the color on mine bleeds onto my skin quite badly. -

Tue, April 21, 2009 - 9:56 AMSo I guess the BIG question here is: at the ones at TB the same as the ones other places are selling, or are they coming from another manufacturer, being sewn by someone at TB, etc.
I think I shall shoot them an email!

Re: Lace cholis - fit compared to Flying Skirts help needed!
Tue, April 21, 2009 - 12:00 PMI bought one from TB when they first got them in, and Yasemin was getting feedback at the time that they were running large. It was a year ago, so maybe they were resized for a later batch? -

Re: Lace cholis - fit compared to Flying Skirts help needed!
Wed, April 22, 2009 - 10:23 AMI bought a small two months ago and it's way too big on me. It covers most of my back and when I hold my arms out it looks like I have arm-pit-wings.
Any other vendor suggestions? -

Re: Lace cholis - fit compared to Flying Skirts help needed!
Thu, April 23, 2009 - 6:31 AMon the same idea as fit compared to fit...this is a problem with ALL my clothes!!! Not just BD. I have a pair of size 4 pants that fit exactly the same as a pair of my size 8 pants!! Explain this...please! I usually buy a medium in BD stuff where fit counts (i.e. cholis), but my FCBD red lace choli is huge!!...at first I was really dissapointed, but, I've figured out ways to layer it so that it still is the beautiful piece it is...I love it.
