I've finally had the last of my music choices in for tomorrow night's hafla and because the sound system is based in such a bloody awkward place I'm trying to get everything on iPod so that we can literally just plug in and play without disrupting any of the bar staff. Unfortunately there are several pieces I haven't got and I can't find them on iTunes. Does anyone know where I can (safely and legally) download bellydance music???

Fri, May 15, 2009 - 10:34 AMTry the facebook and myspace pages of the bands you're looking for - they usually have links to where you can download their music (usually with a credit card). -

Re: urgent request for help
Mon, May 18, 2009 - 2:42 PMNo we had a 5m cable that allowed us to play the iPod from outside the bar so someone could sit on a bar stool and stop and start the music. 'Twas a genius plan and would have been perfect were it not for the missing tunes lol.

Re: urgent request for help
Mon, May 18, 2009 - 2:41 PMNo I didn't. I don't have a huge music collection and some of them were dancing to bollywood pop rather than traditional music and I just couldn't find it anywhere!!
