I have a wide foot, with bunion (so strangely shaped), and have both Dance Paws and Foot Undeez. I like them and honestly recommend them both for different reasons.

Dance Paws stay put no matter what. They feel like an extension of my foot really. And they blend in more, looking less like I have anything on my foot at all. But it is a pain in the ass to get my toes through the little toe holes. Yes, you can cut them wider and I have, but you don't want to cut them too large or it will potentially shift with more give in there, and you could compromise the strength of the fabric between each toe the smaller you cut that. The individual toe-holes can be worth it, though, as they are just a function of what makes them work so great.

Foot Undeez have a tiny bit of shift for me, but it is so much easier to have just one thong between the big toe and second toe. This thing makes it look a little more obvious when I wear them, but then again, some students love that aspect and get zebra and cheetah prints to show them off. :)

So as a wide foot person, Leana, I recommend either, depending on your priorities.

Ok, so I've had an issue finding the right dance shoes for me! I've gone through 2 pairs of Sandasols, 2 different sizes and they always do the same thing.......that is after they stretch the padding on the bottom slides too far back and doesn't protect the ball of my foot. I actually like these the best but it hurts alot when I'm up on my toes once they stretch. The first pair I had did this so I got a smaller size and those did the same thing. You're supposed to go down a couple sizes from your street shoes, but now I'm wondering if I should get a bigger size???? Then I got the Capezio Dancesleaker, but those made my feet too hot and squashed my toes. Then I got some gymnastic shoes and those are ok, but can be slippery when spinning and I feel like I have no control. The last pair of shoes I bought were ballet shoes and holy moly.........i have zero control when spinning! It's ridiculous! I don't know what to do.

Any feedback out there is much appreciated.
