I've been re-reading Tribal Talk and came upon a reference I don't understand. On page 31, the header and text refer to a move called "Forward Drops" ("Reach & Sit, Single Bumps, Forward Drops"). Anybody know what "Forward Drops" are?

Re: Forward Drops?
Wed, September 23, 2009 - 3:13 PMWell, my tribal talk is at home, and I'm at work. (naughty me). I know which section you are referring to. There are pictures, correct?
I'm guessing that because it's mentioned with other hip bump family movements it could be the up2 down3.
Initially, I thought maybe the Arabic 1,2,3's when reading your post. Either way, it's probably something that you already know and not the big mystery that you might be hoping for.
Good luck!
Cheers,

Thu, September 24, 2009 - 8:54 AMThanks, gals, for your input. My initial thought, too, was Arabic 1-2-3, but that didn't fit with the pivot bumpy theme. Durrah, your idea about "Forward Drops" being shorthand for F-F-D-D-D sounds likely. Thanks again!

Wed, September 23, 2009 - 3:36 PMI looked at my copy and I believe it's the 2up3down since they all share the same arm position.
